Ryan Gerard went pin-hunting in his Masters pursuit, Alexander Levy was on the run while John Parry and Dylan Frittelli showed champion course knowledge in round three of the 2026 AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open.
Here is everything you need to know from Moving Day at Heritage La Réserve Golf Links.
Jarvis joined at the top
Casey Jarvis has at least shared the lead in all three rounds so far after Saturday's 68 took him to 16 under par, where he was joined by the surging Ryan Gerard after the American shot 63. Jarvis won November's Hyundai Open and Vodacom Origins of Golf on the Sunshine Tour and said: "That gives me confidence for this final round. I’m really looking forward to it, and to being in the final group on the DP World Tour for a change. It’s going to be fun.”
Gerard doesn't waste his chance
Gerard's pursuit of victory - and a top-50 end-of-year World Ranking to secure a place in The Masters Tournament - was kick-started by an astonishing near-albatross on the 12th when, from a treacherous position in a waste area, he landed his approach shot 18 inches short of the hole and clattered off the pin. While he could not convert a remarkable eagle, the resulting birdie was the first of five in succession and six in his last seven holes.
Run, Alex, run
Unsighted by a grass bank, Alexander Levy was in a hurry to see where his pitch into the 15th ended up - and with good reason! This birdie kept the Frenchman one off the lead as he seeks to regain his DP World Tour card at the first opportunity.

Parry makes light of difficult ninth
Defending champion Parry is tied for sixth on 11 under, five shots behind the leaders. He helped his cause with one of only two birdies all day on the difficult ninth hole, the other coming from France's Clement Charmasson.
Fancy this shot?
Jayden Schaper put himself in contention to back up last week's maiden DP World Tour win at the Alfred Dunhill Championship with another in Mauritius. His brilliant 64 contained eight birdies and an eagle but his best shot may just have been to limit the damage to a bogey on the seventh...
Knee-high rough. Downhill stance. Water beyond the green.

Local knowledge
Frittelli won here in 2017 and demonstrated his knowledge of the Heritage Links with this shot into the second.
