From a two-week stay in Dubai followed by a visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain, the DP World Tour now visits Qatar for the final leg of a four-event stretch in the Middle East.

Jayden Schaper continues to lead the Race to Dubai Rankings Delivered by DP World, but second-placed Patrick Reed is a man on the hunt as the American makes his debut at this tournament this week.

With four players having already claimed their maiden DP World Tour win so far this season, a host of hopes seeking their breakthrough are teeing it up at Doha Golf Club.

One player who has tasted success plenty of times is Pádraig Harrington, with the Irishman celebrating his 500th start on the DP World Tour this week.

While last year's winner Haotong Li may not be in the field as he adjusts to life as a dual member in his rookie season on the PGA TOUR, there are eight past champions in action - including Ewen Ferguson, Antoine Rozner and Eddie Pepperell.

From insight into the week’s most-picked players among Fantasy managers, to our ones to watch, we run the rule ahead of Thursday’s deadline to pick your team.

Who are the most picked players?

For the second week running, Major winner Reed is the most-picked player so far and features in 71% of teams, 14% more than New Zealand’s in-form Daniel Hillier.

England’s Matt Wallace is next at 55%, with Nacho Elvira – a winner already this year – and Schaper rounding out the top five at 32% and 21% respectively.

Who are our ones to watch?

Favourite - Patrick Reed

The American was close to making it back-to-back wins on the DP World Tour, losing out in a play-off last week at the Bapco Energies Bahrain Championship having been ten shots adrift of the lead at the halfway stage. Now less than 68 points behind Race to Dubai leader Schaper, he will hope to maintain his momentum into a fourth consecutive appearance on the 2026 Race to Dubai. Since starting the year 41st in the Official World Golf Ranking, he has risen to 25th and is the top-ranked player in the field for a second consecutive week. While he may not have played competitively at Doha Golf Club before, the form he is in means it would be no surprise to see him battling at the top of the leaderboard once again.

Form Horse - Daniel Hillier

The New Zealander is a walking cash mashine at the moment. With his wedding on the horizon, the timing is ideal. Across his five starts on the 2026 Race to Dubai, he has four top tens - the most recent of which came last week in Bahrain after he finished second at the Dubai Invitational last month. Having just missed out on dual membership on the PGA TOUR last season, he is already firmly inside the top ten on the Race to Dubai Rankings and a win this week could see him rise as high as third. Already at a career-high 101st in the world rankings, one final good showing in the Middle East will see him head into the first mini-break of the campaign with a big golfing milestone achieved.

Wild Card - Chris Wood

This may be the Englishman's first start of the season on the DP World Tour, but he comes into it in good form. Having won the MENA Tour's Qualifying School in November, he has since won twice in three starts to lead their order of merit. While this week may be a step-up, he showed his class across fleeting opportunities on the DP World Tour last year with a top ten in Turkey and a top 20 in Denmark. Couple that with his winning record over this week's venue, having lifted the Qatar Masters title in 2013, and the former Ryder Cupper is a man to watch out for. A fourth DP World Tour title might be too much to expect, but he won't be short of people rooting for him.

Looking back - Bapco Energies Bahrain Championship

Without a win on the DP World Tour across his previous 90 starts, it was perhaps understandable that Freddy Schott was not an obvious pick to win in the Kingdom of Bahrain last week.

But for the 188 teams he was in, the German rewarded those who selected him with 235 points. Of those, 16 (0.02% of all Fantasy players) had him as their Captain. Great work!

Our Favourite Jayden Schaper suffered his worst finish of the season so far as a closing 76 saw him fall from inside the top 20 to a tie for 52nd, Form Horse Julien Guerrier finished tied 24th and Wild Card Richie Ramsay missed the cut.
