Advance Ticket Savings to be made

Advance tickets for some of the top sporting events in Europe can be purchased through The European Tour’s on-line shop, with significant savings to be made.

Golf fans can book tickets throughwww.europeantourtickets.comto see many of the world’s top golfers in action at events such as the Smurfit Kappa European Open from July 5-8, when tournament golf returns to The K Club for the first time since The 2006 Ryder Cup, The Barclays Scottish Open at Loch Lomond from July 12-15, and the Quinn Direct British Masters, which takes place at The Belfry from September 20-23.

The European Seniors Tour is also gearing up to welcome three of Europe’s greatest champions – Spain’s Seve Ballesteros, England’s Nick Faldo and Germany’s Bernhard Langer – all of whom celebrate their 50th birthdays this year when they will be joining a host of other legends of the game on the Seniors Tour, with the Senior Open Championship at Muirfield the jewel in the crown.

The launch ofwww.europeantourtickets.comhas been a huge success. Advance ticket sales for the BMW PGA Championship doubled this year through the on-line shop and it is hoped a number of other European Tour events will join this initiative next season.

The next European Tour event offering on-line tickets is next month’s Smurfit Kappa European Open. Once again, spectators can enjoy the first day’s play for free thanks to the ‘Free Ticket Thursday’ initiative from Ulster Bank. The application process for free tickets has now closed with more than 30,000 availing of the offer. And to complement Ulster Bank’s offer, the tournament organisers have restructured their usual ticketing policy for the event by producing a special ‘Long Weekend Ticket’ which permits entry on Friday July 6, Saturday July 7 and Sunday July 8 for a total cost of €70. A one-day ticket is priced at €25 if purchased before Monday July 2 and €35 on the gate, while for Senior Citizens the charge is €10 in advance and €15 on the day. Entry for U-16s is free providing they are accompanied by an adult.

Throughout the seasonwww.europeantourtickets.comis offering substantial savings on regular admission prices for pre-booked tickets at a number of events on both The European Tour International Schedule and the European Seniors Tour Schedule, so clickherefor details.

Hospitality packages for the The Barclays Scottish Open can also be purchased online.
