Arlandastad Golf Named as New Venue for Scandinavian Masters in 2007

The Scandinavian Masters will visit only its fifth different venue in 17 years when the tournament moves to Arlandastad Golf in 2007.

Located in the Swedish capital of Stockholm, Arlandastad boasts two parkland courses (the Old and the New) and next year’s Scandinavian Masters will be held over the Old layout.

The par-70 course - originally designed by Sune Linde but substantially revamped by European Tour player Robert Karlsson of Sweden and former European Seniors Tour professional Peter Chamberlain of England – has hosted the previous two editions of the Skandia PGA Open on the Challenge Tour, events which were won by England’s Matthew King and Scot David Patrick.
