Thomas Björn has notified the Masters Tournament that he will not participate in the 2003 Masters due to family medical reasons.
The field for the Masters, which starts Thursday, is now 93 players. Despite Björn's withdrawal, there are a record 39 foreign players this year including 24 European Tour Members.
