Richard Bland and Romain Langasque may be at very different points in their European Tour careers, but they both made an early birdie to hit the top of the leaderboard during round three of the Omega European Masters.
Frenchman Langasque is playing just his fifth European Tour event this week while England's Bland is playing his 392nd, and both are seeking a first win at Crans-sur-Sierre Golf Club.
The duo came into day three with a share of the lead and both made a gain on the par three third to get to ten under, a shot clear of fellow overnight leader Richard Green and another Australian in Scott Hend.
The first is playing as the toughest hole on course this week but Hend was able to pick up a rare birdie and get to nine under after three holes, while Green started with three pars.
Richard T Lee and Alex Noren also made par starts to sit at eight under, a shot clear of Li Haotong who was two under for the day after seven holes.
Andrew Johnston and Alejandro Cañizares were also at seven under, one ahead of David Drysdale, Tommy Fleetwood, Florian Fritsch, Alexander Levy and Julien Quesne.
Matthew Fitzpatrick made four birdies in his last five holes on Friday to make the cut by a single stroke and he continued that form, recovering from an early bogey with five birdies to set the clubhouse target at four under.
