Golf fans will have the opportunity to purchase newly introduced Weekend Tickets at discounted prices for one of The European Tour’s most sought after titles, the BMW PGA Championship, at Wentworth Club from Thursday, May 24-27, 2007, where England’s David Howell will defend his title.
Adult Weekend Tickets, which will guarantee entry to Wentworth Club on Saturday, May 26 and Sunday, May 27, purchased before May 1, 2007 are now available fromwww.europeantourtickets.comor on +44 (0)800 023 2557 at the discounted rate of £36. Weekend Tickets purchased after May 1 will cost £45.
Weekend Ticket prices for Senior Citizens, Disabled fans and Juniors (under the age of 16 on April 30, 2007 who are unaccompanied by a paying Adult) will be £15 before May 1, and £18 thereafter. Those Junior fans who attend the BMW PGA Championship alongside a paying Adult will be admitted free of charge throughout the tournament week.
Fans will also have the chance to see many of The European Tour’s biggest names free of charge on Wednesday, May 23, with the announcement that admission fees for the BMW PGA Championship’s Pro-Am Day will be waived.
The roll of past Champions of the BMW PGA Championship is dominated by some of golf’s greatest names, including: Seve Ballesteros; 2008 Ryder Cup Captain Nick Faldo (winner of a record four BMW PGA Championships); Tony Jacklin; Bernhard Langer; Colin Montgomerie; Arnold Palmer and Ian Woosnam.
