Michael Campbell returned to the Top-50 of the Official World Golf Ranking following his play-off victory over Thomas Björn and Peter Hedblom. Michael improved 21 positions to No. 43 and becomes the fifth highest ranked Australasian on the World Ranking. Thomas Bjorn continued his recent rise as he moved up 2 spots to World No.18 while the Swede Peter Hedblom broke into the Top-200 at No.195.
