Casey Jarvis secured back-to-back DP World Tour titles following a composed final round of 67 in an emotional 2026 South African Open Championship victory.

The 22-year-old had been riding on the crest of a wave after last week's triumph at the Magical Kenya Open presented by absa - his first at this level.

He led by one after 54 holes at Stellenbosch Golf Club, and he rolled in four birdies and a bogey to convert his second three-shot success in two weeks with a 14-under-par total.

Jarvis becomes the third player to record multiple wins this season alongside fellow South African Jayden Schaper and American Patrick Reed, emulating his compatriot's feat of successive victories.

The Masters Tournament and the 154th Open Championship now beckon for Jarvis after becoming the seventh different home winner in the last seven editions of this event.

"I feel on top of the world in this moment," Jarvis said. "I feel absolutely incredible.

"To win in front of my home crowd in my home Open is just absolutely fantastic, I've got no words!

"There's so many good memories (of this event). Brandon Stone, who's a good friend of mine, I watched him when I was about 10 years old and watched him win the SA Open.

"I just had a slight feeling from the start of the week that something crazy was going to happen and it's incredible."

Jarvis immediately increased his lead after opening with a birdie and when he added another at the fourth, he was three clear.

Du Plessis briefly trimmed the advantage with a birdie at the fifth, but Jarvis responded with one of his own at the same hole to reach 14 under.

Another birdie from range at the sixth saw Du Plessis cut the gap before the top two dropped their first shots of the round at the tenth.

The momentum looked to have swung in Du Plessis' favour when Jarvis was out of position at the 11th and needed to lay up at the par-four hole.

However, a stunning approach helped the leader salvage par and Du Plessis then missed his birdie putt.

Jarvis returned to 14 under after the final group all birdied the 12th before a par at the 14th proved enough to open up a three-shot lead following Du Plessis' bogey.

The leader drained a clutch par putt following a wayward tee-shot at the 16th, while Du Plessis gave himself an outside chance with a chip-in birdie at the 17th to reach 12 under.

The pressure of holding a two-shot lead heading down the last would have ramped up further when play was suspensed for a threat of lightning, with the final group standing at the 18th tee.

After a 35-minute delay, Jarvis' nerves were eased when Du Plessis found the water with his approach and he only needed two putts to seal his second DP World Tour crown.

Du Plessis, who secured the $100,000 bonus courtesy of the Course Record Presented by Nexo for his of seven-under 63 on Friday, bogeyed the last to slip back to 11 under alongside Francesco Laporta and Frederic Lacroix.

Italian Laporta could not muster a challenge as he mixed three gains and two dropped shots, while Frenchman Lacroix carded an eagle, five birdies and a double bogey in his final-round 65 to earn a share of second place.

Eddie Pepperell signed for a flawless 64 to take solo fifth at ten under, while South African pair Daniel van Tonder and Haydn Porteous and Emirati Adrian Otaegui were two shots further back.

Spanish pair Angel Ayora and Rafa Cabrera Bello were at seven under alongside home favourite Wilco Nienaber, Scot Ewen Ferguson and Englishman Nathan Kimsey.

Charl Barnard birdied the last to finish the tournament on level-par, which was enough to claim the Freddie Tait Cup for the low amateur.
