Champions from The European Tour and Evian Ladies European Tour, with a combined record of more than 80 tournament victories, are to unite in a pioneering international Pro-Am for charity.
Nine male tournament professionals and nine female professionals will each lead teams of three amateurs at Sunningdale Ladies Golf Club, the organisers and hosts, on May 27 2002, to raise money for the Breast Cancer Care Charity.
European Tour support includes the sponsorship of two teams which will be headed by Bernard Gallacher OBE, three-time Ryder Cup Captain, and The European Tour's chairman Neil Coles MBE, winner of 45 tournaments alongside his eight Ryder Cup appearances.
Supporters of the event will have the chance to win tickets for The 34th Ryder Cup Matches at The De Vere Belfry from 27-29 September.
