Clariden Leu, the Swiss private bank, has officially announced its title sponsorship of the Singapore Masters 2007. The Clariden Leu Singapore Masters 2007 will be held at Laguna National Golf and Country Club from March 8-11.
A leading private bank with Swiss roots and an international presence, Clariden Leu is the result of a recent merger of five Credit Suisse Group companies. Following the merger, Clariden Leu is now one of the five largest providers of private banking services in Switzerland with a combined private banking experience of 519 years. The opportunity to sponsor a tournament such as the Singapore Masters, co-sanctioned between The European Tour and the Asian Tour and won last year by home hero Mardan Mamat, supports Clariden Leu’s mission to foster and strengthen relationships with their existing clients and prospects.
Urs Brutsch, Branch Manager of Clariden Leu, Singapore commented: "The Clariden Leu Singapore Masters 2007 is a major Asian event with a reputation for excellence and success. We are proud to be part of this highly recognised event."
Peter Kwee, Executive Chairman of Laguna National Golf and Country Club and Group Exklusiv said: “We are proud to be part of the Clariden Leu Singapore Masters 2007 and we look forward to a successful partnership with Clariden Leu as well as all the other sponsors of the event.”
Keld Kristiansen, Managing Director of promoters Global One International, said: "We are very pleased to announce that Clariden Leu is our title sponsor for the Singapore Masters. Their support and commitment towards this tournament will be invaluable and we certainly look forward to a mutually successful relationship.”
The Clariden Leu Singapore Masters 2007 will feature an exciting line-up of players including Ryder Cup team-mates Darren Clarke, David Howell and Lee Westwood. Additional names to the growing list of star players include 2005 winner Nick Dougherty and The 2006 European Ryder Cup Captain Ian Woosnam.
