CNN International renews support for Dubai Desert Classic

CNN International has renewed its support to the forthcoming Dubai Desert Classic which will feature a stellar cast bolstered by the presence of three-time champion Ernie Els and world number two Sergio Garcia.

Promoted and organized by ‘golf in DUBAi,’ The European Tour event, to be held at the Emirates Golf Club from January 29 to February 1, takes on added significance this year as it celebrates its 20th anniversary.

And to mark the milestone, the organisers of the longest-running tournament in the region have invited all former champions to honour them for their contributions in raising the profile of the event.

With leading global news broadcaster CNN International teaming up with ‘golf in DUBAi’ as a Co-Sponsor, the Dubai Desert Classic will reach millions of homes worldwide, bringing an unprecedented level of exposure for an event, which has become a permanent feature of The European Tour.
