A very dry spring and summer and recent high temperatures (over 40 c) has affected the course with some fairway and rough areas drying out.
Tees and Fairways
Tees, Fairways and Rough: Poa, Bent and Rye. Fairways cut at 8mm
Greens
Greens: Poa Bent at 2.6mm. Greens were running at 10 on the stimp on Monday, and are traditionally very good.
Rough
Rough: Semi-rough 1.8m at 35mm, Intermediate 1.6m at 64mm, Rough @90mm
