Course Details
Pula Golf Club has undergone dramatic changes within the last 9 months with at least 15 holes having been completely changed or modified. Jose Maria Olazabal's design company have been draughted in to continue with future improvements for the course.
Course Layout
Pula is a short course and with water in play on holes 5,6,8,11 & 14 accuracy is rewarded. The fairways are fairly wide, however there are quite a lot of out of bounds which means that straight hitting will be rewarded.
Tees and Fairways
Tees: Predominantly Bermuda with Penncross; Fairways: Bermuda, Penncross and Rye Grass cut to 10mm
Greens
Greens: Penn Cross (Bent Grass) & Poa Annua. Greens are cut at 3.5mm and were last brushed ( to get rid of the nap) today. The small greens are running at 9.6 on the stimp.
Rough
Rough: Bermuda, Penncross and Rye Grass. The rough is a little patchy in places.
