Course Details
Wind is a big factor on the scoring at Vale do Lobo with extra focus on accuracy from the tee. Recent rain has softened the course considerably and it is playing long.
Tees and Fairways
Tees: Poa Annua; Fairways: Poa Annua and Rye Grass. Narrow fairways cut at 11mm.
Greens
Greens: Poa Annua. The greens are on the whole quite small and the 11th and 16th tournament greens have been extended due to difficulty in the wind last year . The greens are running at 9 on the stimp.
Rough
Semi-Rough: 35mm 3 metres wide; Rough 89mm
