COURSE
Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jnr, opened in 1991. It is a very hilly course, at 2,000 foot altitude, with a 300 metre difference from the top point of the course to the bottom point. Has stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean. Because of the altitude and wind, can be tricky judging the distances. There are quite a number of water hazards round the course, but not many close to play.

WEATHER
Has been stormy with rain for the past week. Forecast for the tournament is generally ok but there will be a risk of mist and fog. Also a risk of localised mist and low cloud.
