Course records tumbled, we had a tie at the top, Alexander Björk said goodbye and we had an international milestone on day two of the Danish Golf Championship.

Record breakers tied at the top
Cameron Adam and Antoine Rozner both fired course records on day two to share the lead heading into the weekend. Frenchman Félix Mory had set the mark with a 65 on in round one but countryman Rozner bettered that on Friday with a 64 to set the target at 11 under. It looked for a long time like the three-time DP World Tour winner would lead alone after 36 holes but Scot Adam had other ideas, birdieing the treacherous last to lower the mark once again with a 63 and join him at the summit. Another Scot in Ewen Ferguson was one back after a 65, a shot clear of Julian Perico, England's Matthew Jordan, Frenchman Romain Langasque, South African Brandon Stone and American Caleb Surratt.
Björk bows out
Björk was happy to be able to give his children a taste of his life as a golfer as he brought down the curtain on his professional career. The Swede announced in September that he was retiring and 11 months later he was able to exit the stage close to home. He has previously said that spending more time with his family was one of the reasons for his retirement at the age of 36 and it was very much a family affair as he said goodbye. "It was very nice to be able to bring family," he said. "I was thinking today on the course that when I was playing a few years ago and the kids were with me they probably don't remember and now they actually have something to remember from when I played golf." A second round 77 ended Björk's chances of making the weekend in his swansong but he almost signed off in style, seeing his shot from the dropzone on the 18th almost fall into the cup. That would have been a fitting ending for a man who bows out with 179 DP World Tour appearances and a win at the 2018 Volvo China Open.
Perico makes history
Perico made history on his debut as he became the first Peruvian to make the cut at a DP World Tour event. The 26-year-old is the first player from Peru to start in a regular event and the second to play on golf's global tour after Luis Fernando Barco at the 2021 U.S. Open. The HotelPlanner Tour regular is bidding to become Peru's first DP World Tour member after advancing to the Grand Final last season and currently sits 33rd on the Road to Mallorca. But this week he is focused on the task in hand and revealed after getting to nine under after 36 holes that he had chosen to keep his appearance under wraps. "I honestly didn't tell anyone I was coming," he said. "Normally I tend to tell a lot of people but I just shut everything down, I only told my mum. My uncle didn't see me in the entry list for Ireland (on the HotelPlanner Tour this week) and he was like 'is everything OK?'..... I just told him I was playing DP this week and that's it. My roommate has no idea, no one knows so if anyoine is following at home, I'm here. I'm just very honoured to see my flag up there with the best players in the world and it's great. It's pretty cool to make history."
Rasmus goes big
Rasmus Højgaard was certainly not playing games as he took on the two driveable par fours. First he did this at the fourth.
And then this at the 16th.
Not all pars are equal
Mark Roe on commentary described Freddy Schott's second shot at the 16th as "miraculous". It's pretty hard to argue. One of the pars of the season was almost a birdie as well.
