Ryder Cup heroes set up a battle, Henrik channelled his inner Miguel and did the earth move in the desert?

Here is everything you need to know from Moving Day at Royal Greens Golf and Country Club.

Friends set for desert duel

After seeing Graeme McDowell win the U.S. Open Championship and hole the vital putt as Europe won the Ryder Cup in 2010, Captain Paul McGinley decided that he was the man to mentor rookie Victor Dubuisson in his team four years later. The duo combined to take two points from two in the foursomes as Europe romped to a third successive victory and on Sunday they will tee off together again. McDowell carded a 66 to get to 12 under, a shot clear of Dubuisson, and the Northern Irishman admits he still has a soft spot for his teammate.

As for Dubuisson, it seems the feeling is mutual as he said: "We haven't played together since the Ryder Cup, I'm very happy to play with him tomorrow."

Roommates in the final group on Saturday and teammates on Sunday. It's all very familiar at the top this week.

It's a crazy game

When McDowell hit his putt from off the green at the 12th, his brain must have been screaming "Stop, stop stop!" The ball was looking like it would go all the way over the putting surface but instead it hit the pin and dropped in to trigger a run of three consecutive birdies. This was his verdict.

Wait for it.............

Renato Paratore's approach to the tenth was inches from being perfect, sitting right on the edge of a contour that would take it down the hole. And then this happened. Was it a gust of wind? Was it a subterranean dweller? Renato won't care - birdie.

Legend follows legend
