D+D REAL CZECH MASTERS
• The 2014 D+D REAL Czech Masters was the first European Tour event held in the Czech Republic since the 2011 Czech Open, won by Oliver Fisher.
• This is the third D+D REAL-sponsored event in 2015. The first two were on the European Challenge Tour they were the D+D REAL Czech Challenge and D+D REAL Slovakia Challenge.
Following his win in the Made in Denmark, David Horsey is aiming to become the first Englishman to win back-to-back European Tour events since Lee Westwood in 1999. He won the TNT Dutch Open and European Open.
• This is the second time the Albatross Golf Resort is being used for European Tour competition following the 2014 D+D Real Czech Masters.
• The European Tour first played a European Tour event in the Czech Republic in 1994. Per-Ulrik Johansson won the Czech Open. The tournament continued then between 1995-1997 and 2009-2011. Then the D+D REAL Czech Masters began in 2014.
