DID YOU KNOW - SHENZHEN INTERNATIONAL
· The Shenzhen is the third of five new Tournaments of the 2015 European Tour International Schedule. The other four are: Hero Indian Open, True Thailand Classic presented by Black Mountain, Afr/Asia Bank Mauritius Open und Saltire Energy Paul Lawrie Matchplay.
· Venue of the Shenzhen International is the A course at Genzon Golf Club. This course was also the venue of the 2014 Volvo China Open, won by Alexander Levy.
· The Shenzhen International ist the eighth different official European Tour tournament, hosted in China. (This number would be nine, including the World Cup, being a European Tour approved Special Event)
· Being host venue to the 2014 Volvo China Open, the Genzon Golf Club will be the first chinese course to host two different European Tour tournaments.
· Raphaël Jacquelin will make his 500th appearance on the European Tour. He will be the 28th player to reach that milestone. The 40 year old will join fellow Frenchman, Thomas Levet (548) being only the the second Frenchmen to appear in 500 European Tour events.
· Bubba Watson will make his third appearance on the European Tour. All previous three were at the WGC - HSBC Champions. His results were: 33rd (2012), 8T (2013), 1st (2014)
