• The Regnum Carya Golf Resort is staging a European Tour event for the first time, after the tournament had been played at the Montgomerie Maxx Royal between 2013-15.
• The Regnum Carya Golf Resort hosted the 2010 Turkish Airlines Challenge and was won by Charlie Ford, in a play-off against Oscar Floren.
• Both of Victor Dubuisson’s European Tour titles came in the Turkish Airlines Open, in 2013 and 2015. The Frenchman was the last player to claim his first two European Tour victories in the same event.
• Victor Dubuisson has amassed €1,953,529 and is a total of 55 under par for his three appearances in the event.
• Even though the Turkish Airlines Open has only been played three times before, the tournament has produced two first-time winners, Victor Dubuisson in 2013 and Brooks Koepka in 2014.
