Spectators at the DP World Tour Championship are set to be entertained just as much off the course as they are by the action on the Earth course, thanks to a wide range of live entertainment and activities throughout the tournament’s themed days.
While the top 50 players battle it out at Jumeirah Golf Estates from November 13–16 for the final trophy of the season, fans in the Championship Village will be spoiled for choice - especially on Ladies Day (Saturday, November 15) and Family Day (Sunday, November 16).
On Ladies Day, where tickets start from just AED 160 and kids aged 17 and under can enter for free with pre-registration, women can kick things off with a free Pilates class at 9am, courtesy of REVIVE Pilates, followed by a complimentary coffee after the session.
Ladies can also enjoy two complimentary drinks from the Zonin Bar in the Championship Village, or the dedicated bar on Ticket+, available from 11am while stocks last, by collecting a Ladies Day wristband from the main information point in the Championship Village between 7am and 3pm.
What’s more, throughout the day, ladies can take advantage of free golf lessons on the Golf For All zone on the driving range, right alongside some of the DP World Tour’s leading players. They can also watch trick shot shows and take advantage of glitter face painting stations in the Championship Village. Once play wraps up on the Earth course, spectators can then dance the night away with LDN Romantic live on stage after play, approximately 5pm.
The following day, on November 16, families take centre stage, with kids aged 17 and under once again able to enter the tournament free of charge with pre-registration. To make arrival even smoother, families can take advantage of dedicated fast-track entry at the main entrance. Once inside, dedicated Family Viewing Areas will be available throughout the course - including prime spots at the first tee and 18th green - offering great vantage points of all the on-course action.
REVIVE Pilates will return with a free mat Pilates class in the morning open to all ages and abilities, followed by complimentary coffee after the session. Parents are then welcome to drop their little ones off at the supervised Kids Zone in the Championship Village, open from 11am to 5pm, where a range of entertainment will keep them busy, including face painting, balloon bending, arts & crafts, magic shows, and princess workshops.
Alongside the return of free golf clinics and trick shot shows, kids can enjoy a free tournament-themed House of Pops ice lolly (while stocks last), and one of the Middle East’s most-loved entertainers, Magic Phil, will take to the main stage from 11am to wow guests with his tricks - with a chance for kids to enjoy a meet and greet too. Closing out the day in style, Jay Abo will perform live on stage after the DP World Tour Championship winner has been crowned.
