Dufner’s triumph at Oak Hill Country Club made the American the final member of golf’s elite foursome to qualify for the 31st PGA Grand Slam of Golf at Port Royal Golf Course in Southampton, Bermuda from October 15-16,

Two years after losing to Keegan Bradley in a play-off in the 93rd PGA Championship at Atlanta Athletic Club, Dufner got his redemption with a two-stroke victory over Jim Furyk at ten under  par. Dufner entered the final round trailing Furyk by a stroke, but was nearly flawless when it counted most. On the weekend, he made just two bogeys in his final 28 holes – those coming on the last two holes.
