Dunhill Links: Day 2 in numbers

Plenty of low numbers on the leaderboard as the standard remained high at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship on day two. 101 of the 168 players in the field are under par after 36 holes but it's two that share the lead heading into the weekend...

133- Leading score after two rounds, shared by 21 year old Jimmy Mullen and 40 year old Anthony Wall.

6- Rounds without a bogey on the front nine at the Old Course for Wall, who finished tied 12th here at The Open Championship earlier this year.

63- Low round of the day from Bradley Dredge and Kiradech Aphibarnrat, both of whom were playing Kingsbarns today.

3- Eagles in the space of 16 holes this week for Dredge. Two in his round today and one yesterday at Carnoustie.

40- Under par for his last six events for the Welshman. A stark turnaround in form considering he was nine over par for his first 16 events of the season.

64.5 -Branden Grace's career average score at Kingsbarns. The 2012 Alfred Dunhill Links champion made eight birdies and no bogeys there this afternoon.

69.1- The average score at Kingsbarns today, compared to 71.7 at St Andrews and 73.4 at Carnoustie.

3.38- Average score on the easiest hole today, the par four sixth hole at Kingsbarns. The hardest hole was the Road Hole at St Andrews which played to an average of 4.39.

20- Under par combined for the four members of the victorious Walker Cup team in the field this week (Jimmy Mullen, Paul Dunne, Ashley Chesters and Gary Hurley).

355- Average driving distance for Ollie Schniederjans today at the Old Course. It was the American's first round at St Andrews since finishing in the top 15 at The Open as an amateur in July.
