(i) The leading 50 from the World Ranking as at 14th April 2003. Note: for each non-member entrant under this clause, Category 4 (sponsors invitations) will be redeemed by a corresponding number of places.
(ii) Entries will be accepted in category order until the field of 150 is complete. For this Championship, Category 5(ii) will be amended to allow 20 places to PGA Members who are not qualified by the Tour Category Ranking System. These to be nominated by the Board of the PGA. This clause will replace the requirement for 4 places for the region in which the Championship takes place.
