Open Champion Ernie Els has confirmed his decision to play in the BMW Asian Open on November 21–24 at the Ta Shee Golf and Country Club in Taiwan.
The current world number three, who claimed the Claret Jug at Muirfield last month will join a roster of names in Taiwan later this year, including defending champion Jarmo Sandelin, American John Daly, and Asian star Thongchai Jaidee.
“I am feeling really confident about visiting Asia at the end of the season for the BMW Asian Open following my victory at the Open,” said Els. “That win has really given me the appetite for more success.”
