Equipment Section on europeantour.com

europeantour.com's equipment section brings you reviews of the latest equipment on the market. Our latest entry is an overview of the Titleist DCI Iron Range. For over a decade the Titleist DCI iron range has epitomised the company's ideals of; performance, quality, consistency. With the introduction of the acclaimed DCI 822OS irons, targeting the recreational market and the addition of the 762Bs for low handicap amateurs and professionals there is now a DCI product for everyone.

Titleist DCI 762 irons

Since the launch of the DCI 762 iron in 2002, this high performance blade has found its way into a number of accomplished amateur’’s and Tour player’’s bags.

Dual hosel lengths and exact weight distribution provide for careful management of the centre of gravity (CG) in all of the irons, which is a hallmark of all DCI iron designs. Long irons feature lower CG for easier launch and higher flight whereas the short irons have higher CG for flatter flight.

The DCI 762 iron is offered in a 3-P set of 8 with Victory Velvet Full Cord grip and a choice of Dynamic steel (RRP £555) or Ultralight graphite shafts (£725) in left & right hand.

Titleist DCI 762B irons

The latest generation high performance blade to bear the trusted DCI name is the new Titleist DCI 762B Iron™. The DCI 762B Iron™ is a high performance blade.

It incorporates all the innovative design features of the DCI 762 but has a shorter blade length with a smaller more compact head and cavity back, which increases workability and offers better players a full menu of shots.

The DCI 762B Irons™ are only offered in a 3-P set of eight with a 2 iron option and are fitted with Dynamic Gold Steel shafts with Victory Velvet full Cord Round. They are only available as right handed clubs only and are priced at £555.

Titleist DCI 822OS Irons

The innovative DCI 822OS iron is a progressive and oversize design to extend DCI technology, performance and feel to a wider target audience.

The DCI 822OS irons has a variety of game improvement features to attract recreational players with mid to high handicaps including a wider, flatter sole design with more bounce that provides better impact and less digging resulting in fewer fat shots.

The DCI 822OS iron is offered in a men's 3-SW for men in steel (RRP £625) or ultralite graphite (RRP £815) and for ladies 5-SW in graphite only (RRP £635). All come with Victory Velvet rubber grip.
