Four European Tour Members – Brian Davis, Greg Owen, Phillip Price and Rob Rashell - remain on course for a US PGA Tour card with all four players occupying places in the top ten of the US PGA Tour Qualifying School at La Quinta, California, at the halfway stage.
England's Davis, a two time winner on The European Tour International Schedule, is the best placed in joint third place on 12 under par following a five under par 67 in the third round. He trails leader Jeff Brehaut by four.
Another Englishman, Greg Owen, winner of The 2003 Daily Telegraph Damovo British Masters, shares fifth place with Rob Rashell, one of only two Americans with full Membership on The European Tour. Both players posted two under par rounds of 70 to lie on ten under par 206.
Welshman Phillip Price lost ground on the leaders, falling from joint second to tied eighth on nine under par following a one under par 71 but with the top 30 players and ties earning a full US PGA Tour exemption for the 2005 season all four players are well placed to earn a card.
