European Tour Weekly travels to France this week for the Vivendi Cup 2010. The Golf de Joyenval hosts the new-look Pro-Am event and as always we will report all the latest news from the range.
As always European Tour Weekly will take a look back at the most recent event. This week that means the Austrian GolfOpen presented by Botarin. ETW will highlight all of the best of the action from the Diamond Country Club.
Whilst in Austria ETW caught up with Spain’s Miguel Angel Jimenez who, along with actress Bo Derek, took in some of the local sights. Miguel has enjoyed a successful 2010 season picking up two more victories on The European Tour which has helped him cement a place on Colin Montgomerie’s team for the upcoming Ryder Cup at Celtic Manor.
Next week the attention will turn from The Race to Dubai to The Ryder Cup as the European team look to win back the coveted trophy. Two years ago the American team were victorious at Valhalla Golf Club where they were captained by Paul Azinger. In a special feature Paul looks back at the last encounter and tells ETW about his memories of the week.
