Frenchman Thomas Levet captured the 2004 Barclays Scottish Open and in the process earn 545,208 points and top POOL D pick. The win also guaranteed him a place in next week’’s Open Golf Championship at Royal Troon. The 35 year old produced one of the rounds of the year to triumph, a fantastic 63 seeing him come from seven shots adrift at the start of the day to pick up his third European Tour International Schedule title.
Top POOL A pick this week was Michael Campbell of New Zealand whose total of 270 and -14 under par saw the Kiwi finish as runner-up, his best result of the season so far, at Loch Lomond and earning his fans 363,472 points.
Marcus Fraser of Australia equaled his best finish of the season finishing tied for fifth when he earned his fans 101,279 fantasy points this week as top POOL B pick. Fraser shot a final round 73 for a total of 272 and -12.
The top POOL C pick was Englishman David Howell who earned 184, 174 points. Howell’’s final total of 271 ensured he had his best week of the season so far on the European Tour finishing in a tie for third place.
Wade Ormsby of Australia enjoyed his best ever pay day on the European Tour Schedule earning 37,456 points as the top pick from POOL E. Ormsby finished in a tie for 21st position after an excellent final round of 67 for a total of 277 and -7.
High flyers this week was team "THE MACKATTACKS" managed by Malcolm Mackenzie who earned a fantastic 986,264 points from a possible 1,231,589.
