Angel Cabrera claimed his third European Tour title at the BMW Championship last week, and his first since the Benson & Hedges International Open in 2002. Two fantastic closing rounds of 66 and 67 saw the Argentinean claim victory by two shots and ensure his fans picked up 666,660 fantasy points as the top pick from Pool C.
Mårten Olander ensured his best finish of 2005 with back to back birdies on the 16th and 17th on the last day to finish tied for fifth place, and earning fans of the Swedish golfer 143,200 fantasy points as the top pick from Pool B. New Zealand's Michael Campbell continued his good form of recent weeks, finishing in a tie for eighth place and gaining claiming his third top ten finish in his last five events. Campbell earned his fans 94,800 fantasy points as the best performer from Pool A.
Bradley Dredge secured his third top ten finish in 2005 last week with rounds of 68, 69, and 70 after a slow start in the first round with a 75. Dredge earned his fans 80,000 fantasy points as top pick from Pool B and will look to improve his finish this week in his home country at The Celtic Manor Wales Open. Englishman Lee Slattery will also try to put the disappointment of an 84 in the third round behind him, as he was ten under par for his remaining three rounds. The improving Englishman in his rookie year on the European Tour finished as the best performer from Pool E and earned his growing fan base 12,300 fantasy points.
Team of the Week went to "Dai's a Royal" managed by Hefin Evans who earned a commendable 833,560 fantasy points from a possible Fantasy Five total of 996,960.
