Fantasy Five from the Omega European Masters

England's Luke Donald claimed his second victory in eight starts on the European Tour in 2004 at last week's Omega European Masters. Donald, who's form both in the United States and Europe prompted Ryder Cup Captain, Bernhard Langer to pick him as 'wild card', carded six sub-70 rounds to win the event by five strokes, and earn his fans 266,660 fantasy points as the top pick in Pool D.

Runner up last week and maintaining the form that has seen him rise to third place on the 2004 Volvo Order of Merit was Spain's, Miguel Angel Jimenez. Jimenez was chasing his fifth victory on the European Tour this season but had to settle for second place, earning 177,770 fantasy points for his fans as the top pick from Pool A.

Sergio Garcia hit top form last week in the run up to the Ryder Cup, only a final round 72 preventing the Spaniard from challenging for the title. A solid performance earned Garcia 82,667 fantasy points as the best performer from Pool B.

Fellow Spaniard, Carlos Rodiles also had a great week earning his first top ten of 2004 as well as 37,920 fantasy points as the top pick from Pool C. Also claiming his first top ten this year was Englishman Robert Coles. He finished in a share for third place with Sergio Garcia and earned the largest cheque of his year so far, whilst finishing as the best pick from Pool E with 82,667 fantasy points.

Team of the Week was "Mouna11" managed by Thomas Stenderup, who earned a commendable 559,735 points from a possible Fantasy Five total of 647,684.
