David Lipsky knows what it takes to win on the big stage, having won on the European Tour at the Omega Europeans Masters in Switzerland two years ago. He has also shown some promising form in Asia of late, having registered top 20 finishes on his last three starts in that part of the world, with two of those performances, at the True Thailand Classic and the Perth International, seeing the American finish among the top ten. The 28 year old, who also won the Asian Tour Order of Merit in 2014, will be looking to get back among the winners’ circle this week.

Chris Hanson has only missed two cuts during what has been a very consistent and rewarding season to date for the Englishman. Throw in a couple of top ten finishes in Morocco and Austria on the European Tour, and a tied fourth finish in his only Challenge Tour event of the season in Madrid, and it becomes clear that the 30 year old is trending in the right direction. He led into the final day of the Trophée Hassan II before finishing in a tie for fifth place, and will be keen to utilise those opportunities the next time one presents itself. His accurate game might suit the short 6,698 yard layout awaiting the players this week at Phoenix Gold Golf and Country Club.

Made the headlines after detailing his Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open exploits on social media, which saw the Englishman go from first reserve to playing alongside Martin Kaymer and Henrik Stenson and shooting one over par over the first two days, in very testing conditions at Castle Stuart. The 29 year old is enjoying his best ever professional season in terms of earnings and made the cut at The Open Championship in Troon a week after his Scottish Open exploits. Will be keen to make an impact in Asia this week to add another chapter to what has already been a memorable season for Evans.
