Flashback 381 days and Le Golf National hosted one of the great Ryder Cups. This year, with a new place in the schedule and a strong field, it hosts the Amundi Open de France.
The Open de France has been a part of the European Tour schedule every season since 1972 and this year marks the 17th time Le Golf National has hosted the event and our stats guru has studied the form to offer three suggestions for your Fantasy Golf team.
Favourite - Alex Noren
Alex Noren returns to Paris as defending champion, the highest ranked player in the field and looking to win in his fifth consecutive season on the European Tour.
Le Golf National is home to happy memories for the Swede - a closing 67 en route to his triumph here last year and the site where he holed a monster putt on the 18th to beat Bryson DeChambeau and seal Europe's Ryder Cup win.
His record at this event speaks for itself. He has recorded a top ten finish in his last three starts in France, averaged 69.25 across his four rounds here last year and over those 72 holes he gained +3.43 strokes on the field.

Form Horse - Matthias Schwab
Coming off-the-back of his eighth top ten of the season in Italy, Matthias Schwab could be considered the hottest player on the European Tour in 2019.
In his last 23 European Tour rounds he has a 68.8 scoring average, making his combined score to par across that span 62-under.
The Austrian only has 72 holes under his belt at Le Golf National, where he finished on three over par, but 22 of his last 25 rounds have been in the red numbers. Should this continue at Le Golf National, a historically difficult course, it might see him lift his maiden tour title.
Wildcard - Søren Kjeldsen
Few players in the field this week have pieced together consistent performances over a long period of time in this event, but, take Søren Kjeldsen as an exception.
The Dane is the only player in the field with more than eight rounds played that holds an aggregate under par score at this course. In 1,116 holes played at Le Golf National since 2000 he's four under par. Adding to that, in his last 62 rounds here he is gaining an entire stroke on the field.
Kjeldsen has also recorded three top ten finishes at the Open de France and this week he is poised to break making 200 birdies in total at Le Golf National - having recorded 198 since 2000, the best of anyone in the field.
The 44-year-old is coming off a solid week at the Italian Open, where he secured his best result for five months - in a tie for 25th.
