Bernd Wiesberger at the fifth hole during his final round of the 2016 KLM Open

Bernd Wiesberger is yet to win this season but the Austrian has come close on several occasions including his last start, where he finished runner up at the KLM Open. That performance in the Netherlands was Wiesberger's sixth top 15 in his last ten starts, showing that he is in top form arriving in Germany. The 30 year old ranks in the top 20 on Tour this season in Stroke Average and Greens in Regulation and displayed some impressive course form opening with a bogey-free 64 at Bad Griesbach at this event last year.

Form horse: Tommy Fleetwood

Tommy Fleetwood

Having had a period in the middle of the season in which he missed five cuts in seven events, Tommy Fleetwood has bounced back into form with two straight top ten finishes. The Englishman is 25 under par for his last eight rounds and led the field in Greens in Regulation last week in Italy, finding 61 of 72 greens. In fact, over his last two events he has missed just 22 greens, better than anyone else over that period. Fleetwood has 16 top tens since his last win in 2013 and will hoping be his recent ball striking form can carry him to victory this week in Germany.

Wildcard: Richard Bland

Richard Bland at the 2016 Omega European Masters

He might be 43 years old but Richard Bland is enjoying a career year in 2016. He is currently enjoying a career-best season in terms of Stroke Average, Greens in Regulation, Putts per GIR, top tens, average finish and earnings. He arrives at Bad Griesbach on the back of five straight top 30 finishes including a top ten last week in Italy. Having finished in the top ten here last year, don't be surprised to see Bland in contention over the weekend.
