We've reached the fifth week of the Fantasy Race to Dubai game and we're in Mauritius for the second edition of the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open. As spectators take in the great views and scenery at the Four Seasons Resort Anahita, out statistics guru has been taking a look at who he believes you need in your line-up this week.
Pick of the favourites: Scott Hend
View Player Profile
Scott Hend has become a bit of a hot weather specialist in recent months. Having picked up wins in Hong Kong and Thailand in the last two years, the Australian is in fine form. He arrives on the back of two straight top six finishes in China and will welcome a return to Mauritius, where he finished in the top five last year. Over his last eight rounds, Hend is 30 under par, and with his length off the tee and recent form, don't be surprised if he's in contention on Sunday.
Form Horse: Zander Lombard
View Player Profile
Zander Lombard is enjoying a rich return to form in 2016. Having made just one cut in 12 starts on the Challenge Tour and European Tour in 2015, he has notched four top 15 finishes in fives starts this season, including runner-up at the Joburg Open and fourth place at the Australian PGA Championship. He briefly led the Trophée Hassan II on Friday last week before stumbling on the weekend but despite that he seems to have found his game. Armed with prodigious length off the tee and a short game that sees him ranked inside the top 15 on the European Tour in Putts per Round, Lombard may be the a worthy addition to your Fantasy team this week.
The Wildcard: Justin Walters
View Player Profile
Like Lombard, Justin Walters has played well in 2016 despite a tough season in 2015. Last year, the South African was forced to return to the Qualifying School, where he finished in the top ten to secure his playing rights for this year. Since then, he hasn't looked back. Three top four finishes in his last six starts will give the 35 year old plenty of confidence arriving in Mauritius, where he finished in the top 15 in 2015.
