The Pro-Am on the eve of the ISPS Handa World Invitational Men | Women, Presented by Modest! Golf Management will be free entry for all, meaning you can see some of the biggest names from sport and entertainment for absolutely nothing.
Golf fans can watch some of the hottest talent from the European Challenge Tour and the world of female golf, as well as big-name amateurs, at Galgorm Castle Golf Club on Wednesday August 14, one day before the first-of-its-kind tournament begins on Thursday.
One Direction star and Modest! Golf founder Niall Horan will tee it up on Wednesday as he joins a plethora of golfing talent from his management stable, such as Turkish Airlines Challenge champion Connor Syme, Ewen Ferguson, who finished runner-up at the Euram Bank Open last month, and Leona and Lisa Maguire.
Furthermore, BAFTA and Golden Globe nominee and Ballymena native James Nesbitt – known for roles in Cold Feet and Lucky Man, amongst others – will take to the fairways in Ballymena, in addition to 20-time Champion Jockey AP McCoy.
Former British & Irish Lions winner and Irish rugby player Tommy Bowe – who earned 69 caps for his country – will join the line-up in Thursday’s tournament pre-cursor, as will pop star Brian McFadden and four-time Superbike World Champion Jonathan Rea.
Irish impressionist Conor Moore will also join stars of men’s and women’s golf in Wednesday’s Pro-Am. Moore, a keen golfer, has become an internet sensation thanks to his hilarious takes on the biggest names in golf, including Rory McIlroy, Justin Rose, Bubba Watson and Tiger Woods.
