Pierre Fulke of Sweden has called time on his 18 year professional career and retired from the playing side of the game to concentrate on business ventures off the golf course.
Fulke, 36, won three times on The European Tour, including the Volvo Masters at Montecastillo in Spain in 2000 when he finished a career-high 12th on the Order of Merit.
He played in the victorious European Ryder Cup Team at The De Vere Belfry in 2002 but gradually became more involved in golf course design projects and played only six times on The European Tour International Schedule in 2006 after suffering an injury to his side.
"I'm not tired of golf, but I'm tired of the travel," Fulke told the Swedish Golf Federation's Website. "It feels good to sleep in my own bed."
"Now it's time to explore other areas in golf. I'm involved in several new projects in Sweden as a course designer," he added.
