Genworth Stats Pack - Day 2 Review

Inclement weather interrupted the first two days of play at The Nelson Mandela Championship presented by ISPS Handa. We analyse the Genworth Statistics of the Round 1 clubhouse leaders Daniel Brooks, François Calmels, Edouard Dubois and Romain Wattel at the point when Day 2 was suspended.

Daniel BROOKS -8

Daniel Brooks fired eight birdies on his way to a superb bogey free opening round of 62, to hold the clubhouse lead by one shot. Looking at his Genworth Statistics, the 26 year old English golfer only managed 4/13 fairways but he was still able to hit 14/18 Greens in Regulation and go onto convert 12 single putts over the Mount Edgecombe course. Most impressive of all was his birdie two’s at all five of the Par 3 holes.
