Henrik STENSON -12
Henrik Stenson fired eight birdies on his way to a superb bogey free second round 64 (the low round of the day alongside Ross Fisher), to lead at the halfway stage. Looking at his Genworth Statistics, the 37 year old Swedish golfer has so far been imperious from tee to green, hitting 24/28 fairways and 34/36 Greens in Regulation, plus he leads the Par 4 Scoring with a 3.60 average. Henrik seems to be in complete control with no other player accumulating more birdies or dropping fewer shots over the first 36 holes.

Alejandro CAÑIZARES -11
Alejandro Cañizares converted five birdies on his way to a bogey free second round 67, to keep touch with Stenson for the tournament going into the weekend. Looking at his Genworth Statistics, the 30 year old Spanish golfer has also produced some great golf from tee to green, ranking 6th for both Driving Accuracy and Greens in Regulation. But his putting figures are pretty impressive as well, and he has managed to navigate the Jumeirah Golf Estates course dropping just the one shot (matching Stenson).

Victor DUBUISSON -8

Looking at his Genworth Statistics, the 23 year old French talent has produced some strong tee to green play the same as the top two, including averaging a huge 305 yards for Driving Distance. His Par 5 Scoring is also very impressive at 4.25 (hitting four of the Par 5 greens in sub-regulation) and he has accumulated 13 birdies over days 1 and 2 (the same as Stenson).

Marcus FRASER -8
Marcus Fraser converted six birdies against one bogey and one double-bogey on his way to a second round 69. Looking at his Genworth Statistics, the 35 year old Australian golfer has been steady with the longer clubs, but he has putted arguably the best out of all the players over the first two days (accumulating 20 single putts in total). The 2-time European Tour winner has also continued to demolish the Par 3’s, recording 6 birdies and 2 pars for the 8 of them played so far.

Justin ROSE -7
Justin Rose converted six birdies against a single bogey on his way to a second round 67. Looking at his Genworth Statistics, the 33 year old English golfer is producing some fantastic numbers with the longer clubs (which seems to be the vital ingredient over the long Jumeirah Golf Estates course this week), but he has slipped to five shots behind Stenson as a result of not making quite enough birdies. We may see the 6-time European Tour winner playing a little more aggressively over the weekend in an effort to catch up and apply some pressure.

Ian POULTER -7
Ian Poulter converted six birdies against two bogeys on his way to a second round 68. Looking at his Genworth Statistics, the 37 year old English golfer is driving the ball long and straight, playing aggressively into the greens and recording some decent figures with the short stick, but he still seems to be a couple of shots shy in matching the level of consistency being produced by Stenson. The same as Rose, we may see the 12-time European Tour winner firing at the pins on Saturday in an effort to apply some pressure.
