Round 4 of the WGC - HSBC Champions produced 54 sub-par rounds and a field average score of 70.03. Dustin Johnson emerged victorious on -24 with Poulter and McDowell finishing as his closest challengers. We analyse their performances and round up the final Genworth Statistics leaders.

Dustin JOHNSON -24
Dustin Johnson converted one eagle and five birdies against a single bogey on his way to a final round 66, to emerge as the tournament winner by three shots. Looking at his Genworth Statistics for the week, the 38 year old golfer from the United States was hugely impressive in most departments of the game, ranking 13th for Driving Accuracy together with 6th for Driving Distance, which then led onto rankings of 1st for both Greens in Regulation and Putts per GIR (the perfect combination for approach play). Surprisingly Dustin did not make the most birdies over the week (that crown went to Martin Kaymer), but his scoring across the different hole types was obviously superb. This WGC - HSBC Champions victory is the biggest win of Dustin Johnson’s career to date.

Ian POULTER -21
Ian Poulter converted seven birdies against one bogey on his way to a final round 66, to finish runner-up for the tournament. Looking at his Genworth Statistics for the week, the 37 year old Englishman was very solid from tee to green, ranking 19th for Driving Accuracy and 20th for Greens in Regulation (plus he hit four of the Par 5 greens in sub-regulation two shots, placing 3rd for that category). Interestingly though, with only 1/6 Sand Saves the twelve-time European Tour winner ranked lower than expected for the short game categories, but the putter grew hot through the week. With this valiant defence of his WGC - HSBC Champions title, Ian climbs up to 4th on the Race to Dubai and 2nd on the Ryder Cup European Points list.

Looking at his Genworth Statistics for the week, the 34 year old golfer from Northern Ireland ranked 2nd for Greens in Regulation (with 59/72 greens) and 1st for Scrambles (with 11/13 up and downs for Par), enabling him to drop the fewest shots out of all the players (just 3 bogeys in total). With this result, Graeme closes the Race to Dubai gap between him and Henrik Stenson to just €146,000, as we reach the half way point through the Final Series.
