Tickets are now available for the 37th BMW International Open, which will take place from 1–5 July 2026 at Golfclub München Eichenried
The BMW International Open returns to Golfclub München Eichenried for the 37th staging of the tournament, with two-time Major winner Martin Kaymer set to join Stephan Jäger and Matti Schmid on home soil next summer.
Making his first appearance since 2021, Jäger returns home to the course he grew up on as the tournament celebrates its 31st staging at Golfclub München Eichenried.
“I’m really looking forward to finally playing at Eichenried again and enjoying the BMW International Open,” said Jäger, who missed the 2025 edition due to his wife giving birth to their second son.
“Having a tournament like this in your hometown is a rare and lucky coincidence. I can’t wait to enjoy this week with my family as well as old friends and colleagues in front of a German crowd.”
Kaymer, who holds the distinction of being both the youngest winner and the only German champion of this event, was 23 years and 177 days old when he claimed the title in Munich in 2008. A regular in this tournament, the 40-year-old called the long-standing event one of his favourites.
“The people that you work alongside make a huge difference,” he said.
“You can tell that everyone at BMW is incredibly passionate about the tournament. Which makes it enjoyable for us as players, and I’m always grateful that we have a fantastic event like this here in Germany. Coming here is a source of great joy.”
Schmid, currently the highest-ranked German player in the Official Golf World Rankings, finished seventh in 2025 as the best placed German in the field and is excited to return.
“The atmosphere was incredible throughout the week. I hope that everyone will be coming back because it’s great when we have a full house here.”
The tournament, which has been a fixture on the DP World Tour since 1989, will celebrate its 37th edition of its long-time title partnership with BMW, with further national and international stars are set to follow at what is currently the only German stop on the DP World Tour calendar.
Tickets are available from the official ticket shop, and fans can take advantage of a ten percent Christmas discount on day, tournament and Fairway Club tickets until 24 December 2025. The offer excludes already discounted categories. www.bmw-golfsport.com/tickets
