TRAVEL BY CAR & PARKING
The Public car park for the Hero Open will be located at Fairmont St Andrews.
Please follow your sat nav systems until you pick up the yellow AA Event Signage when we would ask that you follow the signs to Car Park 1.
Travelling from Edinburgh, take Queensferry Crossing on to the M90. At junction 8, take the A91 exit to St Andrews and continue on A91. At St Andrews follow A917 for Crail. Fairmont St Andrews is approximately 2.0 miles on the left.
Public parking is free and the walk to the 1st and 10th tees will take approximately10 minute.
DISABLED PARKING
Designated parking for Blue Badge holders is located at the front of Car Park 1 and the route to the course is accessible by wheelchair.
TRAVEL BY TRAIN
St Andrews is not on the train line. The nearest station is Leuchars (20 minutes away from St Andrews) on the main line from London, Edinburgh and Aberdeen. Fairmont St Andrews may be reached by car, taxi or by buses from Leuchars.
Taxi
A taxi from the centre of St Andrews will take approximately 6-7 minutes and cost between £10-13.
Buses
The journey time between St Andrews and Fairmont St Andrews is around 11 min. It covers a distance of around 4 miles and costs between £2-4.
