Golf for Good at the Husqvarna British Masters hosted by Sir Nick Faldo

The Husqvarna British Masters hosted by Sir Nick Faldo will feature an action-packed Golf for Good programme.

Golf for Good is the European Tour Group's pledge to being environmentally and socially sustainable, ensuring we have a positive long-term impact on the courses, countries and the communities we visit.

Learn about the activations taking place at The Belfry Hotel & Resort.

Drive the Green

The DP World Tour will make a £100 donation to The Belfry for every green driven on the tenth at the Brabazon Course.

This support to diversify and drive The Belfry’s biodiversity project’s onsite links directly to the European Tour group's work related to the Sports for Nature framework, as the Tour continues to support and work with its championship venues.

Also, and separately, the player who is nearest the pin with their tee shot across the tournament will receive a mower, from title partner Husqvarna.

Golf for Hope

As was the case last year, fans and staff are being invited to donate any new or used golf equipment which will then be sent to Ukraine for their Military Vets Rehabilitation Programme - Golf for Hope.

Many Ukrainians are turning to golf for rehabilitation, physical activity, and mental escape from the ongoing conflict, but equipment resources are low in the country.

The initiative is run alongside the Ukrainian Golf Federation.

For fans offering equipment, they will have the opportunity to enter a ticket ballot for the 2027 edition of the British Masters. There will be a QR code at the drop-off location where fans can scan it and enter as a thank you from us.

Zoolab Wild Walk Nature Trail

Step into the Wild Walk Nature Trail, where there will be ten locations to uncover, celebrating nature found at The Belfry and your local common golf courses. Signs will be placed in friendly locations so they can easily be located by fans. There is a 'Nature's backyard' stand in the Backyard Village where the trail starts and fans can collect work booklets, as well as get hands on with some exotic animals. Delivered in partnership with Zoolab.

You can also access the trail via the Player Locator feature during event week.

Among other nature-related activities planned:

50 bird boxes have been purchased through the National Trust and were built by Coventry Men’s Shed

Once painted, the boxes will be donated to England Golf, who will circulate them to local golf courses to support their biodiversity commitments

Daily talks will take place in the PGA Village

Animal lovers can get close to exotic wildlife from Wednesday to Sunday in the Backyard Village

Community Education

Through the Careers in Golf Programme, behind-the-scenes tours will take place onsite at The Belfry on Thursday and Friday. Upwards of 30 children from local education establishments are expected to attend, providing them with an insight into the work carried out at a tournament on the DP World Tour.

Husqvarna and The Belfry will also offer talks from staff members, providing further perspectives on working within industries that help facilitate the staging of an elite sports event.

Community Participation

Organised by the team behind the Faldo Series. 130 children, aged seven–12, will participate in the Faldo Futures Final across Wednesday and Thursday.

On Friday, and new for 2026, a Golf 6s event specifically for girls will take place on the PGA National Course.

Children will also be able to show their talent throughout the week at the Kid Zone, over on the PGA course.

EDGA helping players with disabilities

On Monday, August 24, EDGA will run three coaching clinics:

Team up with England & Wales Blind Golf to coach players with a visual impairment to continue to reach their potential.

Train a number of 'guides', typically volunteers, who help players with visual impairment around the golf course.

Working with UK charity, LimbPower, eight golfers who have limb difference will be welcomed for individual 30-minute coaching sessions.

Climate Emergency Fee

GreenDrive_260626

Golf is a sport that relies on a healthy natural habitat. The climate emergency actively threatens the sport we love.

Through the Tour’s Green Drive initiative, we are working hard to reduce our own carbon footprint and achieve net zero carbon.

But this is a team effort, and we want our fans to support us on this journey. In fact, spectator travel accounts for 45% of a tournaments total carbon footprint – the single largest source of emissions.

Spectators who purchase tickets to DP World Tour tournaments are now given the option to add a voluntary £1 “Climate Emergency Fee” to their ticket price upon checkout. This money will go to our Climate Emergency Fund, which is helping to finance additional carbon removal projects.

A standalone donation of £2.50 may also be made here or via the QR code below.

Please note all donations are non-refundable.
