There was a huge outpouring of love for newly-crowned U.S. Open Champion Matt Fitzpatrick and his caddie Billy Foster after Sunday's epic final round ended with the 27-year-old Englishman taking home his first Major Championship title.
Greats of the game, Ryder Cup team-mates and players from his beloved Sheffield United were among those congratulating Fitzpatrick after he won by one shot at The Country Club, Brookline.
