Branden Grace continued to dictate the tempo when the second round of the Alfred Dunhill Championship began at Leopard Creek Country Club.

Branden Grace - the first round leader on 10 under par

The South African was three clear overnight after an opening 62, and raced to 15 under par with five birdies in his first ten holes after resuming on the back nine this morning.

Grace, who won all four of his European Tour titles during a memorable 2012 campaign, then bogeyed the fifth, but got the shot back at the next to be five clear of compatriots Shaun Norris and Tjaart van der Walt.

Last week’s Nedbank Challenge winner Danny Willett was three under for the day through 13 holes, leaving the Englishman fourth on nine under.

Defending champion Charl Schwartzel, looking to become only the sixth player in European Tour history to win the same event three years running, was three under for the day and six under for the week with five holes remaining.
