Todd Hamilton of the USA will make his first return trip to Europe since his unforgettable victory at the 133rd Open Championship to take part in the €3,000,000 Linde German Masters at Gut Lärchenhof, Cologne, Germany.
Hamilton, who defeated European Number One Ernie Els of South Africa in a dramatic play-off at Royal Troon in July to secure the first Major of his career, joins European Ryder Cup Captain Bernhard Langer of Germany at the Linde German Masters just seven days before the start of The 35th Ryder Cup Matches at Oakland Hills Country Club.
Langer co-promotes the Linde German Masters with his brother Erwin, and will host some of European golf’’s biggest names at Gut Lärchenhof including Denmark’’s Thomas Björn, England’’s Paul Casey, Miguel Angel Jiménez of Spain, Scotland’’s Colin Montgomerie and Englishman Ian Poulter.
