Open Champion Padraig Harrington took the first round lead at the Hassan II Trophy with a five under par 67 at the Royal Dar Es Salam Golf Club in Morocco.
The Irishman leads his fellow European Tour Members David Howell and Simon Dyson, as well as former Open winner Mark O’Meara, by three strokes after the first round. Darren Clarke and Raphaël Jacquelin are a shot further back after opening rounds of 71.
