The Emir of the State of Qatar, His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani today visited the $2.5 million Commercialbank Qatar Masters, Presented by Dolphin Energy, being staged at Doha Golf Club.
It was the first time in the 11-year history of the tournament that HH The Emir had visited the tournament and underlines the massive strides made by the event since it was first staged in 1998.
During his visit, HH The Emir met with European Tour Deputy Director of Tour Operations Director David Probyn before touring the course and the hospitality suites.
Also present were Commercialbank Chairman HE Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Attiya, Mr Hussain Al Fardan, Managing Director - Commercial Bank, HE Shaik Mohamned Bin Fahad Al Thani, Chief of Amiri Protocol, and Hassan Al Nuami, President of the Qatar Golf Association.
