In the previous two stagings of The Africa Open as a co-sanctioned event on The European Tour International Schedule there has been home success for two of South Africa’s new guard – Charl Schwartzel (2010) and Louis Oosthuizen (2011). Both scored low round the East London GC layout in their respective victories edging out plenty of their compatriots who always go well on home soil.
